Hunter Stock and Land, previously known as Thomas Livestock, has been servicing producers of the Hunter Valley and surrounding areas since 1952. We are licenced Stock and Station Agents, Auctioneers and Real Estate Agents.

With extensive knowledge and expertise in livestock and the rural property market, we can help you with livestock sales, rural property sales, clearing sales, farm management services and advice on your livestock. We conduct weekly livestock sales at HRLX Singleton.

Hunter Stock and Land operates at Hunter Regional Livestock Exchange (HRLX) located at 56 Gresford Rd, Clydesdale, utilising their state-of-the-art facilities to sell prime cattle every Wednesday and store cattle on the second Saturday of every month.

Our experienced team is also able to provide customised livestock services that suit each client’s operational needs, including mustering and all animal husbandry activities.

We have a strong connection with a broad range of industry contacts from producers, to buyers, processors, feed lots and transport companies.

We can also provide consulting advice, facilitate your paddock sales, clearing sales and much more.

  • Hunter stock and Land will work with you on the sale of your property as an intimate team. From the Market Analysis, Listing and Marketing through to the closing process. Our team works with you to present your home with the high standards essential for attracting potential buyers and maximising its apeal.

  • Weekly sales conducted out of HRLX Singleton each Wednesday commencing at 8.30am.

  • Second Saturday of each month, store sale out of HRLX Singleton commencing at 10 am.

  • Direct from your farm to abattoirs, feedlots and backgrounders. We can find the best market for your livestock.

  • We can facilitate your private paddock sales and ensure that they comply with all NLIS requirements

  • Hunter Stock and Land takes pride in giving honest and practical advice that is specific to your needs including livestock marketing, agistment, rural property management and property sales advice

  • We can facilitate clearing sales for all machinery and sundry farm items, providing pre-sale marketing and assistance with preparation leading up to the sale, as well as full sale administration on auction day

  • We can coordinate the transport of your livestock to and from the sale, or between properties as required

  • We can facilitate stud sales through various sale platforms, either on farm, online or through HRLX

  • We can facilitate livestock agistment and leasing arrangements
